Nature’s End
2019
This project imagines the remains of an end-times health food store: An employee shirt is abandoned in a moment of haste. A milk crate becomes a minimalist cube when groceries are no longer available.
My 2019 move to Las Vegas coincided with record high temperatures and the invasion of a swarm of locusts. Long drives around the city revealed dilapidated strip malls, faded glamor and doom.
